Connect Wi‑Fi in Android Settings before opening Rafiki Kiosk for the first time.
Create your child's login in the Parent dashboard → Family first (name, password).
You will choose a parent unlock PIN during setup — needed later to exit kiosk mode.
On the tablet, open this page and tap Download Kiosk APK. If prompted, allow your browser or Files app to Install unknown apps.
Open the downloaded rafiki-kiosk.apk and tap Install. When finished, tap Open.
Enter the same credentials as RafikiAI PWA: child name, parent phone (+255…), and child password (lowercase letters a–z, at least 6).
Choose and confirm a 4-digit PIN. This unlocks the tablet later — it is not the child's password.
Android will prompt for microphone, camera, location, notifications, and phone access — see the full list below. Tap Allow so talk, safety, and emergency features work.
Rafiki stays on screen. Your child uses Talk or Chat. Hold Volume Up to talk.

Sign in to the Parent dashboard → Family → your device → set a new Kiosk Exit PIN.
Download only from this page. The APK is signed by Rafiki and connects only to our official server over HTTPS.
